Promise by the Shore
Clean up the beach and help the turtle eggs to hatch safely to keep an old promise to your beloved dead wife. The game has 2 different stages with cutscenes and ending :)
WASD - Move
K - Interact
L - Return
Pick up the trash around the shore and dispose of it at recycle bins or take it home to craft new tools.
Bins:
Gray - Wood
Blue - Metal
Green - Glass
Yellow - Plastic

This mini game is a submission to the I can't Draw But Want to Make a Game (Again) Jam. It was made in 4 days since we arrived late. There are some things that I'd like to perfect but it was the best we could do within 4 days and with a single pc to do both art and programming.
The art was made by my wife, who has zero experience with art whatsoever and had to learn on the go (the naif style looks really cute though).

Your team has produced a beautifully unique game! As we all can't say enough, great job on all the animations! Your choice of music, mixed with the gameplay makes for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. I must say the choice of K and L as the buttons was very comfortable to plant both hands on which complemented the game style as well. It's easy to tell that you and your wife's teamwork, in regards to the art and programming in here, shows the seamless transition of your complementing skills and you guys make a very strong team!
This was a beautiful game with a powerful message!
Very peaceful experience, I like the drawings. And very surprised you have draw all the diagonals of the character.
Thank you for the comment! :) We thought the game already looked simple enough as it was, so we had to add the diagonal movements as well otherwise it would feel lazy.
